1.Your TrafficNodes balance
These Payment & Refund Terms form part of our Terms of Service and apply whenever you add funds to your TrafficNodes balance or use it. If they conflict with the Terms of Service on a payment or refund matter, these Payment & Refund Terms govern that matter.
Your TrafficNodes balance is a closed-loop prepaid balance denominated in US dollars. It holds value you can use only to pay for purchases on TrafficNodes.
- It is not a bank account, deposit account or cryptocurrency wallet, and it does not earn interest.
- It is kept in US dollars only. TrafficNodes does not hold a cryptocurrency balance for you.
- It increases when a top-up is verified or a marketplace order is refunded, and decreases when you pay for a purchase.
2.How top-ups work
- On your balance page, you choose the amount in US dollars you want to add, within the limits shown on the form.
- We create a payment for that amount with our payment processor and send you to its secure hosted payment page.
- You complete the payment there, in a cryptocurrency and on a network offered on that page.
- Once the payment processor confirms the payment and our checks pass, your balance is credited. You can follow the status of every top-up in your account.
Being returned to TrafficNodes from the payment page does not by itself mean a payment succeeded — only the status we confirm with the payment processor does. Top-ups may not yet be available for every account, and limits on amounts and on the number of open payments may apply.
3.Payment through Trybit
Cryptocurrency payments for top-ups are processed by Trybit, a third-party cryptocurrency payment processor, on its hosted payment page. TrafficNodes does not see or control your wallet, and never asks for your private keys, seed phrase or wallet password.
Trybit's own terms and privacy policy apply to your use of its payment page. What information we share with Trybit, and what we keep, is explained in our Privacy Policy.
4.Supported cryptocurrencies and networks
The cryptocurrencies and networks you can pay with are those offered on the Trybit payment page when you pay. The list can change over time, and not every cryptocurrency or network may be available for every payment.
5.Amount credited to your balance
The cryptocurrency amount you pay is calculated by the payment processor from that US-dollar amount at its exchange rate when the payment is created. Later movements in cryptocurrency prices, and the US-dollar values the processor reports for what was sent or received, do not change the amount credited to your balance.
6.Payment-processor and network fees
Payment-processor and network fees are added at checkout, and you pay them. That is why the amount of cryptocurrency to send can be higher than the US-dollar amount you chose. Your TrafficNodes balance is still credited with the amount you chose.
Fees depend on the payment processor's current pricing, the cryptocurrency and network you choose, and network conditions, so they can change. The payment page shows the total amount to send before you pay. Your wallet or exchange may also charge its own fees; make sure the amount that arrives is at least the amount due.
7.Payment window
Each payment has a 3-hour payment window, shown on the payment page. Send the payment promptly, so that it is received and confirmed before the window closes. Some networks, such as Bitcoin, can take much longer to confirm than others.
If the window closes before your payment is confirmed, the payment is cancelled and your balance is not credited automatically — even if you sent the funds in time. See Failed, cancelled and expired payments.
8.Blockchain confirmations
A payment is credited only after the payment processor reports it as confirmed and we have verified it independently with the processor. Confirmation times depend on the network and on network congestion; we do not control them. While a payment is waiting for confirmation, its status shows as awaiting payment.
9.Partial payments
If less than the amount due arrives — for example because a wallet or exchange deducted its own fee — the payment is partially paid and your balance is not credited. A partial payment is never treated as full payment.
You can send the remaining amount shown on the payment page before the payment window closes. If you cannot, contact us with the top-up reference. We review partial payments individually; a credit, refund or other outcome is not guaranteed.
10.Overpayments
If more than the amount due arrives, your balance is credited with the amount you chose. The excess is not credited automatically. We keep a record of it and review it, and you can contact us about it with the top-up reference.
11.Wrong cryptocurrency or network
Send only the cryptocurrency, on the network, shown on the Trybit payment page, to the address shown there, and include any memo or tag the page asks for. A payment sent in another cryptocurrency or on another network, or without a required memo or tag, cannot be credited in the usual way.
Such a payment may be delayed, may require an investigation by the payment processor, or may be permanently lost. Recovery is not guaranteed: where it is technically possible, it depends on the payment processor's own conditions, which can include a minimum amount, network fees and processing time. Contact us with the top-up reference, the transaction ID and the address you sent to, and we will help you raise it with the payment processor.
12.Failed, cancelled and expired payments
If a payment is not completed, is cancelled, or its payment window closes, your balance is not credited and you can start a new top-up. If you sent funds for a payment that expired or did not complete, contact us with the top-up reference and the transaction ID. We will investigate with the payment processor, and where it confirms that the full amount was received for that payment, we may credit your balance; this outcome is not guaranteed.
13.Refunds of top-ups
Top-ups are non-refundable once credited to your balance, except:
- where applicable law gives you a right to a refund;
- where a top-up was credited in error, credited more than once, or affected by a technical or payment-processor error; or
- where TrafficNodes approves a refund after a manual review by our support team.
The payment processor does not process refunds of completed payments for us. An approved refund is handled manually by TrafficNodes: we will explain how it will be made, and the refunded amount is removed from your balance. Because of network fees and cryptocurrency price movements, the amount you receive may differ from the amount you originally sent. Nothing in this section limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
14.No withdrawals or transfers
Your TrafficNodes balance cannot be withdrawn, cashed out, converted to cryptocurrency or transferred to another user or account. TrafficNodes does not offer a withdrawal feature.
15.Refunds of marketplace orders
If a marketplace order paid from your balance is refunded — for example after a cancellation or a dispute decided in your favour — the refund is credited to your TrafficNodes balance, where you can use it for other purchases. It is not paid out in cryptocurrency or to a bank account. Orders and disputes are governed by Orders, transfers and commerce features in our Terms of Service.
16.Reviews, security checks and holds
We may delay, review or decline a top-up, and it is not credited until the review is resolved, where:
- the payment information does not match the top-up — for example the amount, currency or payment reference;
- the payment processor reports an anti-money-laundering or risk check on the payment;
- we reasonably suspect fraud, unauthorized use of an account, an error or a security issue; or
- applicable law, sanctions or a competent authority requires it.
We may ask you for information needed to complete a review. We may also limit or suspend top-ups, or access to your balance, as described in Suspension and termination.
17.Test payments
TrafficNodes may run test payments through the payment processor's test mode — for example while a payment method is being set up or reviewed. A test payment can show as confirmed but never credits your balance and has no monetary value. Test payments are labeled "Test payment" in the top-up history. Any test credit TrafficNodes grants for evaluation is labeled as such and has no cash value.
18.Contact and support
For any question about a top-up, a refund or your balance, contact us at support@trafficnodes.com from the email address registered to your account. Include the top-up reference shown on its status page and, where relevant, the transaction ID. Never send us your private keys, seed phrase or passwords. You can also find our contact options on the contact page.
19.Changes to these terms
We may update these Payment & Refund Terms, for example when payment methods, payment processors, fees or limits change. The "Last updated" date shows when they last changed. Changes apply to top-ups started after they take effect, never to a payment already in progress, and material changes are notified as described in Changes to these Terms.
